TIPS: How to Make Money Online

These days everyone is trying to make money online. For some of us is hard for some is easy. I think that if you try hard to look online you can make money fast. So, that’s why today i was inspired to share with you my thoughts and some ways to make money online.

If you’re a stay-at-home mom, student or even full-time employee who could use a little extra cash, you’re probably looking for ways to make some money on the side.

And who wouldn’t want to pad that bank account from the comfort of your own couch?

We know you’re looking for opportunities to make money from home. Here are some advice to start away:

Be serious

You’re applying for an online job. Yes, you can do the work in your underwear, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a “real job”. You must treat it as such or they aren’t going to treat you as a serious candidate. You aren’t the only one who wants to work in their underwear. In fact, the competition online is likely higher than it is in your local area. So, be serious about it. Give your best when applying.

Be Professional

When you submit a CV, don’t type it in ALL CAPS and please don’t avoid the caps lock like the plague. Know how to use it without looking incompetent. Write in complete sentences with proper grammar. Of course, there will be exceptions, but even with the exceptions, you must keep it professional. You’re building their view of you. Look at that like one way of selling your knowledge to people without making face to face relation. That’s why you need to look as more professional as it gets.

You need to work it

In order to make money you need to be spending at least 40 hours a week doing activities that either a) make you money immediately and/or b) have a high probability of making you money within the next 12 months. If you want money you have to work, and work here I’m defining as above: 40 hours a week doing something that makes money immediately or has high probability of making you money within the next 12 months. There are no guarantees. If you have a job today making immediate money that doesn’t mean you have that same job tomorrow. But you have to be always doing something, for 40 hours a week, that either makes immediate money or you believe has a high probability that it will make it soon. That is working it.

Share some, but not all

Whether you’re providing writing samples, a photography portfolio or links to your work, give them enough examples to get the idea, but not so many that they don’t even know where to start. And while we’re on the topic, give them some of your background information, but don’t tell them your life story. People make a lot mistakes when they share everything and most of the times they just get robbed with their finished work. You need to be aware that there are lot of scams online so to make money online is just not that easy.

Always check yourself before posting

Make sure everything you send to a company, whether a resume, an email or a portfolio, is good to go. Double check your grammar and wording, and for God’s sake use spell check! This is especially important when it comes to the company’s name. Don’t spell their name wrong and be sure to type it how they type it. The devil is in the details so better be prepared to show your best “picture”.

Some websites to start with:

Amazon Mturk ($1 Cashout Threshold)

Amazon Mechanical Turk is a way that you could earn money and hit it big through HITs. HITs are Human Intelligent Tasks. There are basically questions that need an answer. Some tasks cannot be performed by computers and this is where you come in. Working is also fun because you choose the task that is of interest to you.

Fiverr is a great place to make a few bucks or spend a few bucks if you need some of the services people offer. Basically, everything is $5. You either pay $5 or charge $5. They call them “gigs.” You can offer your services however you choose. Sell art and you’re fine selling pieces for $5 each, that’s a gig. If you’re a graphic designer and you want to offer your services for $10/hour, simply offer a 30 minute gig. If they need two hours of graphic design, they pay you $20, or $10/hour by buying four gigs.

Crowdsource

At Crowdsource, you get to use and grow your skills and grow your income as well. This is through completing small and big tasks. There is great flexibility in terms of how and where you work as well.  For every project that is assigned to you, you get paid as soon as you complete it. You get support as well through training and testing before starting out and handling assignments. If your performance is great, you have opportunities to work on more projects and earn more money. Crowdsource is a great source of income for you if you are a great performer.
